Thani Nadan Sweet Boli
Thani Nadan Sweet Boli is a traditional Kerala sweet stuffed flatbread, often enjoyed during festivals. For the filling, cook chana dal until soft, mash well, and mix with melted jaggery and a pinch of cardamom powder to form a thick, smooth paste. For the outer layer, knead maida with turmeric, salt, ghee, and water into a soft dough. Let it rest. Divide dough and filling into equal balls, flatten each dough ball, place the filling inside, and gently roll out. Cook on a hot tawa with ghee until golden spots appear. Serve warm with a drizzle of ghee for extra richness.
